How the Process Works

Looking for a piece of artwork to become the focal point of your home or office, whether it's a grand masterpiece or a smaller, more intimate piece for your cherished cozy corner?  Please send your best photos to sydney@sydartworks.com. Please include the size and the desired medium for the artwork (Charcoal, Pen, or Colored Pencil).

I will contact you with pricing (I do include cost of supplies and shipping) and an estimate of completion time.  We will work together to create a perfect plan for the artwork.


I will send a link to pay a down payment via QuickBooks. Once this is received I will ensure that I have the required materials and I will begin working!

You can now relax and patiently await the creation of your soon-to-be favorite artwork, as I apply my artistic touch to craft your new masterpiece.

Once the piece is complete, I will send you a link to pay via QuickBooks. No account is required and all that is needed is a credit or debit card. Once I receive payment I will send your new work of art straight to your doorstep!

Information About Custom Orders

Time Required

 The time required to complete the project depends on size and medium. I can give you a rough estimate when the picture is ordered. 


At times, after your purchase, I may need to add your piece to a waitlist. The timing for completion depends on my current workload as I can only work on 1-2 commissions at one time (unfortunately I only have two hands and I am in art school). This allows me to spend adequate time on each project. 

Payment

 I use QuickBooks to collect payment. A QuickBooks account is not required to pay. They accept both debit and credit cards. 


I will send you a link to secure a down payment that includes the cost of supplies required. Once the piece is completed, I will send you another link to pay for the remainder amount (this will include the shipping cost)

Style

 I do use different mediums for different project types. This ensures that the project is completed to the best of my ability and will guarantee a product that you will love forever. We can discuss options when the picture is ordered.

Sizing

 If a larger canvas or a gallery style canvas is required for a painting, I will need to order it before starting. Therefore, I will include the cost of supplies with the down payment to ensure that I have the ability to secure all the proper tools and materials. 

Frames

 I usually do not frame the pieces I do as commissions. This is because each person's style is different when it comes to frames. Nevertheless, if you'd prefer me to arrange framing before shipping, I'm happy to accommodate. Pricing for framing can be discussed when you place your order. Please keep in mind that framing may require extra time, especially during the holiday season when framers are busy with a high volume of orders. 

Shipping

 I will wrap the picture professionally and have it sent directly to your house! 

There are NO returns on custom orders.
